When you start blogging, you have many options to start a blog:

  • WordPress
  • BlogSpot

….and many more…

Now the question arises which is better for blogging?
WordPress or BlogSpot?

This question may be arising in the mind of new bloggers. Many users love Blogger because it has less technical issues but many users like WordPress because of its features. When someone asks me to which platforms, I started my blogging, here is the answer
I started my blogging with Blogger as it is easy to understand for the new bloggers and don’t need to learn about codes.

But, in this article, I am going to share a comparison between WordPress vs BlogSpot and later explain to you which one is better in the situation and why.

This platform is usually useful when you are a new blogger and don’t have any blogging experiences before. You can use this platform when you want to simply share your thoughts and you are not serious about blogging.

This platform also has an advantage that it is completely free to use. If your blog is a failure then you have nothing to lose it. Also, you have limited control over your blogs. As your blog is controlled by Google and has the rights to delete your blogs when you are violating the BlogSpot TOS.

Why choose WordPress?

This platform gives you complete control over your blogs. You can easily design your files in the way that you want and use it like a pro-blogger.

You can get complete control over the SEO by adding SEO plugins in your blogs to make it SEO friendly blogs. Moreover, you need to install more plugins in order to maintain the health of your blogs. If you are planning to create a blog for a professional level and making money from it, you must go for the self-hosted WordPress blogs.
